    No4 receiver marking

Hi guys, can anyone help me with what this marking is, can't find it in any of my books. It's on a No4 Mk1* I've just tuned up, just curious. Cheers.

The marking that looks like FWW on the left side of the reviever is the mark of a german dealer named FRANKONIA in WÜRZBURG Germanyicon. It means FRANKONIA WAFFEN WÜRZBURG.

    Cheers from Austriaicon

The butt socket marking looks like a sideways Canadianicon property mark- "C broadarrow".

Why the "ALnumber" below the Long Branch S/N?

Glad that was cleared up. I thought it was a Space Invaders import mark. Whew!

Does look rather Germanic to me.
“There are invisible rulers who control the destinies of millions. It is not generally realized to what extent the words and actions of our most influential public men are dictated by shrewd persons operating behind the scenes.”

    Edward Bernays, 1928

Much changes, much remains the same.
