    DCM SRS serial number lookup

    Hi Guys,
Came across what appears to be an NRA sporter. Serial # 1294603, partial serial number on the bolt where it is supposed to be. Could someone with the book help me out please.
    Thanks

    Hi Rick,
Still no Lyman 48 sight, but, I am looking. Cut out is there. I pm'd Mike back about the serial number. I wasn't sure in his reply if the rifle was an NRA sporter or not. Waiting for clarification. Someone drilled and tapped for a scope. If it is not an NRA sporter I don't think I will do much with it.

    NRA Sporter?

I have a 1903 Springfield that is complete, unaltered and in excellent condition. I was told it appeared to be an NRA Sporter. The barrel is a 1930 vintage. The serial number is 1367141. Any chance it is a Sporter?
