    Question MOD 98 bnz45?

Hi I'm a new member. I found this forum looking for some information on a Germanicon Mauser I was given some time ago. I have a MOD 98 bnz45. Does anyone know what I have? From what I can find I have a late war Mauser.

pics would be a great help. i'd love to see it be in original military configuration and not sporterized.

but from the sound of it, it's a Steyr Daimler Puch (bnz), 1945 made rifle. very late war

Try latewar.com. A very good site. They suggest the highest bnz 45 Mauser is serial number 5935t. This would place your rifle in the very last month(?) of production. Perhaps built in April 1945. A photo will help.
