    Let's remember our vets

Today of course is Veteran's day. I'd like to honor the vets in my family (who have all now passed on) so I thought I'd post this pic of my Dad and his three brothers, one of my favorite. Taken in Mobile, Alabama, December 1945 after returning from WW2. L to R. Uncle John, CBI Theater, Uncle Herb, USAAF, Uncle Lee, 506th PIR, 101st Abn, my Dad, US Army Transportation Corps.

And here's my nephew, Dad's oldest grandson, keeping the tradition alive ( he wants to become an officer in one of the services) with my restored Rock-Ola

A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Covering the SMLE from 1903 to the end of production in India in 1989 it looks at how each model differs and manufacturer differences from a collecting point of view along with the major accessories that could be attached to the rifle. For the record this is not a moneymaker, I hope just to break even, eventually, at $80/book plus shipping. In the USA shipping is $5.00 for media mail. I will accept PayPal, Zelle, MO and good old checks (and cash if you want to stop by for a tour!). CLICK BANNER to send me a PM for International pricing and shipping. Awesome photo LeagleEagle. I ran ot though the photoshop filter and auto-balanced it

If you'd like to scan your photo in high resolution and email it to me I'll be happy to restore it and remove any blemishes and sharpen up details. You could then get a new print made of the family treasure. Just an idea.
