Question Where to find original 91/30 PU sniper rifles?

There are a lot of 91/30's reconfigured as snipers with reproduction scopes and bent bolts; and a lot of "ex-snipers" out there. I really want an original sniper veteran with an original PU scope and bolt, but it's hard to find. Does anyone have any leads?

That second one you have there is exactly what I'm looking for (but preferably an earlier model). What did you pay for it if you don't mind me asking?

I think it was about $800 or $900 a several years ago ....

I know that finding all correct authentic originals such as this one is getting a lot harder. There's a lot of fakes, put-togethers and repros out there nowadays, so be careful ...

Thanks, I'll go look there. I read a detailed book on colleccting the Mosin-Nagant and it described things to look for when identifying original snipers from fakes. Time to put that knowledge to the test.

Rguns' PU snipers have been gone over time and time again by countless Mosin experts. they are the real deal. buy one and enjoy it before they run out and the price shoots past $1000

The ATI imports are original refurbs with added German proofs. They were imported from Russiaicon to Germanyicon and then to US. The Rguns are fine but they are near the bottom of the barrel. Royal Tiger, formally IO, is to have some they claim are original refurbs in a couple weeks. These are yet to get a proper going over by the knowing.
