    Refurb Mosin

    Hi
Just wandering what the value of Mosin refurbs are? A guy I work with got an old MN from a guy, it was kept in the barn for a whole lot of years. The bolt was seized up with rust, he soaked in diesel and got it loose now he wants to sell it. I'm also looking at a arsenal refurb, just not sure what the going prices are.

Dunhams is currently selling 91-30's for $79. Their usual price is $89. A lot of places have them for between $89-$99.

If he's had the rifle in a barn for a lot of years, it may not be a refurb but an original rifle. 91-30's without import marks do bring a bit more but you have to weigh that against the rust damage.

Offer him $50. It will take at least $30 worth of time and effort to bring it back.
