A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Bob, here is the Ford. '64 F100, started out as a farm truck, 262ci 6, 3 speed/overdrive, 9spring 4:11 rear end.
I bought it for parts to fix my '66 F350 farm truck in 1989. I decided it was to nice to part out. It sat for along time, then about 6 years ago I challenge myself to finish it's restoration. I took it completely apart down to the frame. Boxed and labled all the parts. I did all the body work and paint myself. I used a '65 and '66 F100 for doner parts ie. grill, chrome, doors and hood. I also used some reproduction parts. The engine is a 429 that came from a '71 Lincoln. The trans is a C6 out of a mid '80's F250. I change the rear end ratio to a 3:60. I also put on front disc breaks. I rebuilt and did all the work myself except for the exhaust. It's one of my summer rides along with my '97 Grand Prix GTP and my son Jakes '74 Z28 Camero. They all run like new, I take turns driving them to work in the summer. They are stored in the winter. Z28 and Ford in heated garage, GTP under a cover in the barn. That's me after my morning run yesterday.....Frank GO PACK!!!

Rusty I know I humped some of the parts. It's hard to find "original" window and door rubber etc. and the rear lights are repros. I did have to have the glassman install the windshield and rear window.
Hey hows the weather down there?

    Best Regards.....frank

Marcus, yes the stray showed up. WOW!!
I have a Fox s/s restoration I'm supposed to have done for a friend to give his Father for a x-mas present.
Dad used it for his barn gun for years and it is rough, was his first gun. Son wants to surprise him with it.
I'm keeping the STRAY safe and will get it done this week.

    Best Regards.....frank

Wow! I'm amazed at your skills and energy to do all those projects. I've been a Ford guy all my life, and worked several years at the Ford garage as a line mechanic in the mid to late 60's. I've had my Ford pickup since '73 and am still trying to get up the nerve to try restoring it for the second time. Frank, that truck looks as good or better than your stocks! I recently joined an Internet group of gearheads and posted some info about my Ford. I don't know if this link will get you in without signing up as a member, but I think it will. You'll have to click on some tabs to see more of the pictures, etc. Thanks for sharing about your Ford. I won't make fun of it anymore! - Bob
