    Yugo capture K98k @ Claymoreantiques

    ClaymoreAntiques CANADA - MAUSER 98K 42 1940

    ClaymoreAntiques CANADA - MAUSER 98K 42 1940 LAMINATE STOCK

Take a look at those prices!

If you dont have the Google program installed to see his pictures, I can tell you right now they are both yugo capture rifles. With force matched serial numbers on the side of the butt stock and on the bolt handle as well.

Either I'm going to be rich selling my yugo capture'd rifles, or this guy is shooting for the moon!

Some very high prices and an irritating website layout, but it's interesting to know they exist.

With a bit of work, they could hit upon a proven Web business tactic - take great pics and lots of them, provide a wordy, accurate description, be responsive to e-mail and answer questions, and finally, be patient. They will sell, even at those prices.

It does seem high for a rework, although about 6 to 7 years ago, Marstar had K98icon Yugoicon special select rifles with nazi markings, and renumbered exactly like these for $995.

Thanks Badger for uploading the pictures

Yes, the pictures sure are very pretty. Maybe his prices are so high because of high expenses due wasted on photographers and high end cameras.

Maybe he is fishing for the the uneducated buyer as well, who knows. 15 hun for a rework is sillly.....

I was thinking of buying a 'matching' K98icon off of him previously and it looked good from the pics but he wouldn't offer a 3 day inspection on it so I bailed.

Yea, thats was odd. From the pictures it looked like a very nice rifle, but you never know what this guy is trying to pull.
