    1903 rnwmp

A man once showed me a 1903 Ross. It was one of the 1000 used by the Royal North West Mounted Police 1903-1906 era.
What's the general value of one of these in used but still very good cond?

    RNWMP Ross

It would depend on whether or not it is "certified" or not, either in the book "Arms and Accoutrements" or else with a letter of authenticity from someone like Klancher. Having said that, apparently the RNWMP stamp is VERY hard to fake. I've only ever seen a couple of them for sale, and they are NOT cheap. The last one I saw was a carbine in very nice shape and was priced at about 5k. I got some photos of it.

Did you see yours in Ontario? I'm curious about how many of these are still in existence--can't be too many!
