Newly manufactured ammunition
I was wondering if anybody has any information about something that I read concerning newly manufactured ammunition. I do not know if this is true, but I read that the government may require that ammunition be made with a shelf life that would limit a persons ability to store ammunition for any period of time. From what I read, they would accomplish this by making the primers have a specific shelf life that would be relatively short. I read that somebody already holds a patent for such primers... Has anybody heard of this? Is it fact or fiction?

Right, horse pucky indeed. Every time an anti-gun regime gains power in washington stories like that start coming out of the woodwork. I first heard it, amongst others, in the 90's around the time that the assult rifle ban was first put into effect.
