I would be very surprised if the powder was anything other than 4895. Hogdon went into business after WWII selling surplus and pulled gun powder.

BTW, smokeless powder makes a great fertilizer. I'm not a big fan of kinetic pullers with rifle ammuntion. I use an RCBS collet puller for rifle ammunition. Once you get the hang of it, it's pretty easy to work.

Agree on the RCBS collet puller if you have very many to pull. Four or five with the kinetic puller, but not many more than that.
