    Son: I am familar with the smaller units in the system, however, these earlier items STILL turn up in armourer's kits to this day, despite their supersession by the electronic force gauge.

    That the batteries NEVER go flat in the old units may have something to do with this.

    Does you unit clip over the older "button" type cocking pieces as well?

    Haven't seen any of the old ones, but then we only have a couple of the tool kits...
