    help Martini trigger

    I've built a custom gun using a Martini action,large action,45/70 cal but can I do anything with trigger to get more accurate shooting.
    Appreciate any help

    miscou kid, two things I have done to my .22 CMT2 target rifle built on a Mark I Cavalry .450 calibre carbine to improve the trigger pull. First, you can thin the trigger spring down a considerable amount and this will lessen the trigger pull. Secondly, take a look at the sear and the top of the trigger to make certain the contact surfaces are square to each other. If not, stone carefully to correct engagement.
