M1 NPM Carbine for $630.00 I would appreciate any help

I have a chance to buy a M1icon NPM Carbine
Receiver 1,492,883 NPM ( this # falls in the 1st block made by NPM )
Barrel is underwood 6-43 with flaming bomb
Rear sights ( milled type 2 with letters HI on the right side ( I think this in Inland )
In front of the rear sight about 1" is 2 punch marks in the top of the receiver (I don't know what this stands for)
    Flat bolt
    Milled trigger guard
    Recoil plate marked SG
Stock has faint P mark on the pistol grip, on right side very faint ( it looks like a square with letters on inside and maybe next to the box cross cannons) very very faint. On the right side faint MCM or some type of rebuild stamp???. Sling well has some kind of letters RS???,07?? and maybe SUI, I just can't make any of them out.
Hand guard has 4 rivet and color does not match the stock so I know it is not right but all the wood is very nice with the normal dings.
I know this Carbine is a mix of parts and I need a ME test with a 30-06 round as I do not have gauges.
The only other thing is I will have to find a different butt plate as the one on the rifle does not fit correct, it is to big.
Price of $630.00 I don't feel I could go wrong.
I am just learning and only have 2 books to use.
I forgot to add that the front band was marked MMQ with the head of the bolt on the right side,it has the bayo lug but this may be repro???
I would appreciate your input and help.
    Thanks
    Dick
