    "new" 1903 stocks

Marstar on their whats new page are offering stocks for the Springfield, thought this might be of interest to some of y'all. Please see below for the link. GRF

    Marstar Canada: New Arrivals

    SPRINGFIELD 1903 ORIGINAL WALNUT STOCKS
These are the rather rare C type stocks, as used on the sniper rifles.
These are 100% original, un-used, never assembled, have been in storage for over 70 years....
May show some very minor handling marks, the sealant that was used on the recoil bolts has migrated on some stocks due to hot climate.
Here is your chance to restore or refurbish that otherwise excellent Spring field you have....

What else would I need ?

If these are original GI contract they are problaby KeyStone

I believe all the Keystone "C" stocks were cut for use on 1903A3 and will also fit the standard 1903.

I have two new "C" KeyStone stocks, and thats how they are setup!

(They each have the "K" in the cutoff)

    Cheers

Unless someone has some info to the contrary, I would think that they are made by Boyds. Boyds are making the replacement stocks for the CMPicon and, I think, Dupage.
There are several threads on the CMP forum about their stocks.

FWIW, I talked to the owner of Marstar and these came from Greece along with some bolts and bands and a 14 containers of Enfield wood and parts. They are USGI stocks, uninstalled, that were sent to Greece as apsre parts.
