    I can step out my back door to the small pistol range we have and shoot .22lr all day if I want. If I tried that with a center fire rifle including the .223 if my wife didn't complain first the neighbors surly would.

    Sweet! I remember in the late 80s, someone was marketing wood stock sets for the AR15. I think they were made in the Philippines, or someplace like that. Saw an AR15 wearing a set at a gunshow one time. Was very cool, but WAY expensive stuff.

    Springfield Armory Inc. was one, I think. Missed out on a stock and handguards about ten years ago and haven't seen any since.

    I have a ceiner 22LR conversion and it works fine and is fun to shoot. Get lots of looks with a go faster switch on.
