My US property marked rifles
Spring cleaning top to bottom, Remington 03 SN3004295, 11-41, Boxed RLB stock and all correct, Remington 03 1-42, SN3021131, boxed RLB, all correct grade CMP rifle with New Zealand marks, 1944 SC depot rebuild with shipping and DA sales forms from 1956, all correct, Springfield CMP correct grade Garand, HRA CMP correct grade with no certificate( talked the guy down to 600 bucks w/o the certificate, roll eyes, 1942 Savage No4 Mk1 matching, 1918 Eddystone with red painted warning on forestock. Non-standard calibre, 30-06 as opposed to standard .303. They were issued to the home guard.

oh, I thought they had yellow and were painted loud and proud. That was my first rifle. only one my dad ever bought me and I sold it when I was 16 like an idiot. I will regret that the rest of my life, He's dead now... Wish I would have told him how much I liked it. Great rifle.
Anyone with an action lying around they want to part with M1917 30-06 Be happy to restore one. I didn't know until recently that after the war they cut the ears off and sold a ton of them to central America.
