Front Sight Adjustment tool for Ishapore Enfield 2A1
Helllo,
I have a 1966 Ishapore 2A1 and I think it's a nice piece. Is there a front sight adjustment tool for it other than a hammer and drift punch? Thanks

Yes, there are a couple. Originally made to suit the .303 SMLE Mk 3, they can be used on the 2A1. There is the original style (got mine from Numrich) and also a simpler modern repro (got from ebay).
All consist of a slotted block which slides over the foresight assembly from the front, and a pair of threaded bars which come in from each side to allow you to move the foresight blade element across in a controlled fashion. You normally have to remove the nosecap to do the foresight adjustment..
