    Rice Peep Site

Tell me gents, is this a Rice peep site for the older enfields, with the sight out on the barrel: eBay - New & used electronics, cars, apparel, collectibles, sporting goods & more at low prices I know Leroy Rice of Elyria, OH made peeps for enfields, and back when he was doing it, 1930s, the older models would have been all that were available to anyone. I'm trying to figure out how it keeps from interfering with the safety. Looks as though it would keep it from going all the way forward.

A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Covering the SMLE from 1903 to the end of production in India in 1989 it looks at how each model differs and manufacturer differences from a collecting point of view along with the major accessories that could be attached to the rifle. It might not be for an Enfield. After I'd bought the sight, I received a Remington model 14 that I'd purchased. Don't have the sight as of yet, but it appears it may fit the Remington! Talk about coincidence! Oh, this supposed to be about enfields, check this one out: http://www.aihpa.com/Rifle%20Project...2%20SMLEAR.JPG
