Pawn Stars recently had an episode featuring a motorcycle that after it was restored looks exactly like the photo in Bill Hollinger’s post including the gun in the scabbard. It had the lleft-hand throttle and shaft drive, could it be the same?

    Hi Billy,
I can't answer about the bike, but sure nice seeing you posting again.
It amazes me at what people will sell their valuables for on that show.

    Cheers Buddy,

Hooks, welcome back. I believe it is the bike. The XA was very unique in that it was the first to cater to "right" handed, which was the only hand recognized, for the MPs that were to ride them. The idea was that the rider could ride, accelerate, and shoot all at the same time. Most were converted back to right hand throttle one they hit the civvy market.

The scabbard that was standard on either the XA or WLA was for the Thompson sub-machine gun. The scabbard is set up specifically to mount to the XA and WLA bracketry on the fork. The Garandicon and carbine scabbard can be modified to mount also. Mostly just the way the straps were wrapped around to secure it. The only XA I have ever laid eyes on was converted to right hand throttle. I hope it will be at Tower Park next week. If it is I'll snap a bunch of pictures.

This is a huge tease! This BMW was at Tower Park last year. How about this motorcycle and mounted weapons system??? And a trailer to boot!

MG34 is spot on! The guy has been working on this for a number of years. Even the trailer and ALL it's contents are genuine.
