    Anyone see this auction?

Is this really possible that someone would pay this much?

WOW! Looks like after $200 there were only the two bidders. There was a complete I.P. last week that went over $1000.
I guess they needed it bad?

    The 2nd place bidder

has 72% of his total bids with this one seller. Looks like he just pounded the price up and then stepped aside. It is ridiculous. You can buy two complete carbines for what they paid.

When it was $711 I decided to make sure I watched the show. Obviously it didn't disappoint. The $1025 or $1045 IP housing with S'G' dogleg, unmarked safety and unknown trigger marking was entertaining.

Plus he has has a fake type 1 barrel band for sale too. Claims it's an original never installed for Rock-Ola as it's marked MR.

    Bruce,
Was it the Circled B/R hammer that isn't a Rock-Ola part?
Or was it the Single Boxed B/R?
    Maybe the Double Boxed B/R?
I seem to recall one not being correct for a RMC.
Just wondering if the one in the auction with the Circled B/R is even correct for it?
I also see it has a Flip safety marked SS and WWII replacement mag catch by Walt- marked WA and M.
Just can't see why it sold so high, unless someone was
I'd get my notes but it is late and the wife is in bed and I don't want to go in digging out the correction book.

This same seller is the one I had posted about a short while back with a Humped U flip sight. You can see a larger S stamped over the smaller S in one of the pics I blew up.
