Found a New in The White P14 Barrel

I have a new unused, in the white 303 P14 regular contour barrel.
The muzzle is flat, so I don't know if it is a target barrel or just un-crowned.
It does not have any military markings. Could it have been a civilian replacement (target) barrel for P14 used in Service Matches?

Did the British P14 contract call for any spares? They wanted rifles like crazy, but do not recall any mention of spares. A mint P14 barrel may well be a 1920's made barrel.
