    Springfield M1 Garand

I'm trying to sell my citori shotgun on backpage and someone wants to trade me for a garand. Although I own a few WWII mausers and an enfield I've always wanted a garand...problem is that I'm clueless to the history/configuration of this gun and all its specs.
This is the info I have so far.

" it was made in aug of 1942 according to ser #767xxx rebarreld in 1953 its all springfield but the bolt its winchester walnut stock cleen shiny barrel gun was checked out by gun smith gauges good shoots good i have about 100 nblocks i think i have about 300 rds of ammo ap and ball original ammo belt for ww2 even have the ww2 entrenching tookl"
    ...all original configuration, no mods.

Any input would be appreciated as to the issues if any and a rough estimate of its value.
Btw...I have a citori 30" barrels, O/U, 3 1/2 chambers in case anyone wants to know.

    Thanks in advance
    Alex

Don't know anything about that shotgun and the Garandicon description is wayyy to vague to give you an accurate value. I can tell you this... I haven't paid more than $800 for a Mix-master Garand, and that was for a very nice (non-import) CMPicon Garand. There were just so many changes and "improvements" to the Garand that the price range can run from less than $400.00 to more than $2000.00. Not much help, I know. But if you have a sense for "Correctness" in WWII Arms you can use that. All the same rules and conditions apply.
