Just received in todays mail my "Footsteps of Sparrow Force - West Timor 1941-42" DVD set.

Congratulations to Ian Skennerton icon

and friends, for successfully documenting this almost forgotten chapter of Australian icon

and Timorese/Indonesian military history.

If you have not organised your own copy, now is the time to do so. I am sure that like Ian's other valued publications, this DVD set will be come another must have for the serious collector.

A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Covering the SMLE from 1903 to the end of production in India in 1989 it looks at how each model differs and manufacturer differences from a collecting point of view along with the major accessories that could be attached to the rifle. Yes, it is good to finally have the DVD and Research CD's out and available.
We need to sell over 1,500 copies to recoup expenses, but the hard yard is done now.
