A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Covering the SMLE from 1903 to the end of production in India in 1989 it looks at how each model differs and manufacturer differences from a collecting point of view along with the major accessories that could be attached to the rifle. I believe the one that came in the light brown/red sheath is a US Kabar. Can't help with the others although some of the others look military. You may want to post some larger photos that show markings, etc.

If it is a Kabar, great yard sale find.

If you work by the points of the knives, the highest one looks like a field workshop mod of a K-Bar. The next down is indeed a K-Bar as mentioned, the possible red black red spacers would indicate first generation. We need closer pics for that. The third one down looks like Case maybe. It should be marked. The fourth one down looks like it may be a John Ek but I don't know that for sure. Maybe just a theater made knife. The bottom one looks like a Pal design of the mark 1 knife. Aragorn's quite right though. We need more pics and look for makers marks. Then we can do better. Also check out http://www.gundersonmilitaria.com and Military Fighting Knives for more.
    Regards, Jim

Can you describe the markings or, better yet, show detailed photos of each knife with markings included?
