Announcement What is a SEDGLEY 1903 Barrel Worth?

I just came into possession of 3 Brand new SEDGLEY 1903 Barrels still in protective wrappings and made in 2-45 by the barrel stamp.

    From my research,

These 2 of these barrels are still in the cosmolineicon wrappers and un-touched. The third barrel was untouched until I cut away some of the wrapping to get to the markings. MARKED 2-45, THIS IS A WARTIME BARREL. SEDGELY BARRELS WERE PREFERED BY MANY THAT USED THEM. THE REAR SIGHT BASE IS PRESENT. MUZZLE HAS "S' IN A CIRCLE, the ORDNANCE BOMB and the Date 2-45.

The label on the Barrels ARE damaged and from what I can de-cypher from the three labels it says:

    BARREL ASSEMBLY
    DWG. C-63932
    CODE No. B3-01-00050
    U.S. RIFLE CALIBER 30 M-1903
    R. F. SEDGLEY
    PHILADELPHIA, Pa., U. S. A.

I do not know enough about these barrels to know what they are worth, and would appreciate information and will take offers. Pictures are available e-mail me.

    I am in ARIZONA.

Nothing wrong with Sedgely barrels. A number were bent and sold as scrap (and then straightened and sold by less than honest sellers), but, as yours are still in the wrap, doubt this would be a problem.
