Top of my wish list would be a Long Branch No 4 T complete with transit case and all accessories. Will buy one hopefully someday and have a fellow collector(s) trying to find one for me. They are expensive but I think will only be far more expensive in the future. Have bought a Indian T with case, scope etc, No8, various No 5's. 1's, including a wire wrapped, 4's, and others BUT the LB T has to be at the top. Have traded DCRA #1 and have added a BSA T with scope with accessories/ transit case. Long Lee with bayonet, a different DCRA, No 4 Maltby, LEC Carbine but need wood for it ..help with that please. Have a chance to get a No 1 converted to .22 with transit case etc once owned by the RCMP, will probably buy it soon the good thing being my friend is not in a rush to sell it and has promised me "first crack" at it.

Well bought the No1 converted to .22 and a few others since this post. Have decided to take a few pictures and post them on here of all my Lee Enfields. Easy to take the pix, hope I can finally figure out how to post them.

A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Covering the SMLE from 1903 to the end of production in India in 1989 it looks at how each model differs and manufacturer differences from a collecting point of view along with the major accessories that could be attached to the rifle. Lots of very nice Grails.
    Here are my two.
1945 Long Branch No. 4 T and a Valkyrie Arms DeLisle Commando Carbine (very quite).
Both are a joy to shoot.

Mine would have to be the one I qualified marksman with back in 1968.
But I would imagine it is long gone.

    hello to everybody !
my favourite of all time is the SMLE, because it´s the epitome of the tommy
    in both wars.
ok, there was also the No.4, but we still have desert rats and diggers charging w. SMLEs in the desert, in the jungles and so on.
and it was the first unified type rifle, i.e. one model for all branches,
replacing artillery and cavalry carbines !
maybe I´m biased, but I think most people think of the SMLE, when
    mentioning enfields.

    One that got away:

No4 Mk1*(T) Long Branch w/ the "Sporter" style stock (No scope). Looked at it for eight months or a year, but never jumped on it. It's now in Oz, somewhere.

Really a comfortable to use buttstock- the rubber recoil pad was getting a bit hard, though. Besides, where to find a C No32 Mk4 scope? (AKA C No67, I think)
