Looks like the CS gas chamber routine on ROK forces.

Gas
Our First Sergeant stood in the chamber without a mask, arms folded, while the entire company went through. I would not have believed it if I had not seen it personally.

I believe it. I personally have had it act differently to me. I've had no reaction in my lungs but it closed my eyes and another time just a heavy feeling in my stomach. Other times it stopped me like a wall.

It never affected me until the instructor grabbed me by the neck and shoved my head right into the coffee can where the CS was burning. I enjoyed watching trainees upchuck in their protective masks.

There were some very strange things seen in the gas chamber...

All I can remember is coughing and spit.

Looks like the breaking-up of the prisoner of war riots they had in the island compounds south of the mainland. Big propaganda victory for the reds, started and lead by North Korean agents sent as prisoners. Huge coverage at the time in the news.

For whatever reason CN bothered me more than CS. My son Jeff says the same thing.
