Are those 6-48 screws used on the bases?

A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Covering the SMLE from 1903 to the end of production in India in 1989 it looks at how each model differs and manufacturer differences from a collecting point of view along with the major accessories that could be attached to the rifle. No, it's not a NRA sales rifle. I did check for it before I bought it . But would have been nice.

JT, what do you mean by "6-48 screws"? We measure in metric system over here, if you're referring to any dimensions, so I'm afraid I won't be able to answer this. But yes, the shown screws are the ones that were used on the mounting blocks on this rifle.

Sorry, nearly forgot to post the pictures. Here is the rifle now back complete with the scope and the sling. Just like the rifle the finish on the scope is rather worn off, nevertheless inside it's crystal clear with a perfect crosshair (no dust!) - just like the mirror bright barrel .
