In recent years the goal at Julia’s is not to handle more guns than any other auctioneer in a year, or to conduct more auctions than any other auctioneer in a year. Our goal is very simple: to assemble very special groups of quality arms that will appeal to the more advanced and serious collecting fraternity. We are proud for having accomplished this goal and the successful results it has produced for both our buyers and consignors.

Our October 2008 auction will include only approx. 1,200 lots with a potential gross value of $11-$16 million. A fabulous offering of Colts incl. one of the most exciting Colt discoveries in recent years: The Wilson/Kenly Walker, unquestionably the finest martial Walker in existence. plus many other superb and high quality Colts.

Also Included Is A Spectacular Array Of High Condition Winchesters; An Extraordinary Offering Of High Quality, High Grade Shotguns And Sporting Rifles; A Very Discerning Collection Of Civil War Collectibles; The Doug Smith Collection Of Rare Lugers, Likely The Finest Collection Of Lugers For Condition In The World!; The Lee Clapp Marlin Collection Along With Additional Exceptional Marlins; High Quality Firearms From The Dr. Frank Miller Collection Of New York Including Fine Single Shot Rifles, High-Grade Sporting Shotguns And Rifles And Much More; Important Historical Lots; Kentucky Rifles; Indian Artifacts; Quality Flintlocks; A Large Grouping Of Class III And Military Arms; Great Smith & Wessons; Numerous Fine Cased Guns; Rare Swords; Fine Scrimshawed Powder Horns And Much, Much More!

Note: The Poulin Auction Company, 50 yds away, will be conducting 2000+ lot auction Oct., 3rd – 5th, 2008 immediately prior to our auction. It will include the second phase of the Extraordinary Military Collection of the late Bruce Stern. Please contact them at 207.453.2114 or Poulin for more information.
