M1903 vs. 03A3 part compatibility question

Quick qquestion - are the cross-screw for the mills 1903 front band and the stamped A3 front band the same part? If not, are they compatible?

I haven't got one of each handy to compare them, but the A3 screw I have does thread into the 1903 milled band I have, though the shaft end is a little loose-ish at the non-threaded end of the band. I can't recall if there is a milled band screw that has a tighter fit at the non-threaded end?

No, they aren't - one has threads near the "head" and the other near the tip. Trouble is, I don't remember which is which!

'03s are threaded on head side (right side).

1903 and Kragicon share the same bayonet lug screw, 1903A3 is its own screw, and not a good one..they strip easy and are a bear to install.

So for clarity, which is which? Which one is threaded at the tip vs. the slotted head side?

The one I have hand is (I think) and 03A3 screw that is threaded up by the screw head and the threads do seem to grip into the threaded hole on the band itself...?

The 03-A3 is threaded on the left end, and the 03 is threaded on the right side. Slotted head is always to the right.
