    Patrick,

You wouldnt even get the scope, bracket and tin for 1900 euros on ebay or similar, but reading through it mentions the price of 4000 euros, is what they go for over there, still a good price. worth watching and see what it goes for, but I do know one went for 2200 pounds over here (UKicon) at scotarms but wasnt a L42, but a repro built on a No4 T action etc, I can see someone turning that back into a No4 T, easy to spot in the future as the butt socket was drilled and tapped for a sight.

The last L1A1 scope I saw on ebay (a beautifully serviced one ) sold for £2k. They come up for sale almost never.

Well it's just gone over 2000 euros now, with 26 days to go. Somebody missed a bargain at the "instant buy" price!

3 hours to go and stuck at 2050 euros. This is either a mad bargain or there is something duff about it which I can't spot. Any experts out there with deep pockets?

Had a bid myself taking in consideration the cost of it getting to the doorstep and tax etc so wasnt that high, (plus the gamble of not seeing it) but the winner has got what looks like a very very reasonable priced L42 !!, so good look to him or her, hope its someone on the forum.

( One thing is I wont have that guilty look on my face when I walk through the door on Wednesday, and I get the " what have you bought " look from the boss )
