Well, its the 94,837th Savage contract rifle.

I have 0C378, which is a T. I do believe the gentleman who owns 0C1 also posts amongst us. You can't get any lower than that.

Mine's 0C160. Also an H&H No.4T conversion but never completed with the scope and bracket.

Nice looking conversion.
Easily worth the current asking price. The mag alone would usually sell for at least $200. (I have had to pay through the nose for my 7.62 mags)
I see properly carried out target conversions as part of the Enfield story, rather than just another bubba'd rifle.

Interesting, and I'm inclined to agree with you. NZ
regularly throws up quite well thought out target conversions, and as the niche is too special interest they often sell way under value.

There were two 0C series were there not? The four digit and the five digit, after the "C" that is. I have one of each, maybe two of the five digit series. Just stripped bodies that is.
The rifle in NZ has a nice L39/42 barrel (probably), mag and maybe even extractor. A bargain price for those parts.

0C1 does exist, have fondled it several times. So the numbers started from 1, not 100 or 1000.

Jona is correct. I've got 0C37 here for some minor repair work now. It's also a H&H "T" conversion that was never completed with a telescope.

I currently have six 1941 Savage MkI's in my collection including 0C64 (a project rifle) and 0C232 (a T less telescope). I have only seen pictures of 0C1, but I believe in resides in Michigan. I am currently researching the claim of a tool room prototype with the serial number "S". I have located this rifle and am trying to get pictures.
