1943 US&S EXP No. 92

Original and unaltered. Manufactured at or near the end of production. These pistols are not experimental. They were made up primarily from what appear to be rejected parts and presented to factory personnel, visiting VIPs or issued to factory guards.

This pistol correctly does not have any "P" proofs, no Ordnance final acceptance, no UNITED STATES PROPERTY and no military model designation.The surface preparation and finish on this pistol is identical to the 55,000 military M1911A1 pistols US&S produced, all in
1943.
