    M1A1 in tv show

just showing my appreciation/observation of the classic paratrooper's carbine, while watching ME TV's showing of a very early "Get Smart" episode last night, 2 of these beauties shown in the Chief's office, secured on a "weapon wall" and ready for action. gotta luv it!

That show ran from 1965 to 1970. I would guess an M1A1icon could have been had for a good price then.

Hind sight 20/20 huh? We would all be rolling in the dough if we had even the slightest idea.
