Whoa??? The photo was there when I previewed it and when it first appeared. I'll try again.

Dimensions are: length = 0.780, diameter = 0.336

Ah, much better. That's a Remington-made .30 Pedersen case. It is an unfired case, but without closer examination I can't tell if it was ever loaded, although I think it was. It was made for the Pedersen Device attachment for the '03 Spfld. rifle.

I could sell you a loaded twin for $2.00, maybe even less.

The "H" signifies the case was made at the Remington WWI plant in Hoboken, NJ.

Don't think it was ever fired.

Firing generally irons out the crimping groove, which is good on this one.

Likely a factory over-run or somebody put one in his pocket. Security was pretty tight on that whole system.

The French liked it well enough to copy it for their 1935 pistols.

Nice find.

We don't see many of those up this way.
