.....but who has his own website?

His prices are really too much, and weird to boot. "$1365" for a rifle? Private guys usually price in $25 increments and if he's chiselling for shipping on an inflated price like that, what else is he doing?

A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Covering the SMLE from 1903 to the end of production in India in 1989 it looks at how each model differs and manufacturer differences from a collecting point of view along with the major accessories that could be attached to the rifle. For the record this is not a moneymaker, I hope just to break even, eventually, at $80/book plus shipping. In the USA shipping is $5.00 for media mail. He's probably fine to deal with, but there something just not sitting well with me and if there's one thing I've learned it's not to listen to that gut feeling.

Like I said my WTB ad yielded a few good responses, and I see one rather pristine model in the EE now, and there's something to be said for that trader rating system.

There's currently a No.4 (still in wrap) with bayonet and cover being advertised in CGN's EE for $800.

I bought the Longbranch I posted pictures of. The price was right and it was exactly what I was looking for. Not particularly collectible but it should be a good shooter.
