    I've seen many that had paint specs 'Flicked' on them from some painting going on near by (not the from Rack numbers being applied type)
    But have never seen (IIRC) paint specs on the inside.
    The picture you show with the parts still together (Top of page) Shows a spec of red on the RI sear.
    Same picture shows a spec of red on the left outer side of the Trigger Housing, just behind the Trigger pin.
