A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Covering the SMLE from 1903 to the end of production in India in 1989 it looks at how each model differs and manufacturer differences from a collecting point of view along with the major accessories that could be attached to the rifle. I like just about anything that will go bang. My current collection is 3 #4's, #5 carbine, K31 Swissicon, Mosin (91/30), Iver Jonson M1icon, Romainian AK, PSL 54 (Knock off Droganov), Ugo SKS, Win. 30-30, and numerous other 22's and shot guns. Oh and a PPS 43, I think that's most of them. @#$ Ar 15 and a G-3. Without a dout tho the enfields are my favorites. Got My first one at 12 and it's about the only thing I've ever hunted with. .

I enjoyed voting. My favorite Military surplus rifle that I own is a re-worked Remington 1903A3. I have a photo of my Grandfather with one at the "Present Arms" position. Circa 1943. Andy

Mosin-Nagants and Swedishicon Mausers have always been my favorites, although I hunted with a U.S. Gov't marked Lend-Lease .303 Enfield for years.
I've recently branched out with a Spanish Model 1916 Mauser and a
Steyr 95M modified to 8mm. Mauser. Mil-surps are
