What's a "double flash"? I've never seen that?

For everyone else, we have now activated some special testing for IE8 users. If anyone is experiencing "out of memory" issues as of this time and date, please let me know. The testing I've done with my own Windows based computer running IE8, shows that it's now running fine, but I'd like to confirm that with other machines.

NOTE: You must CLEAR your browser cache (refresh your view) or you still may get an "out of memory" error message when in fact there is no error. It's just a left over graphic message from your own computer's cache memory.

    Regards,
    Doug

On the night time computers the page will come up, and then seemingly fill the screen again, but it's not a new window or anything. It's only about a one second delay.

I had problems with IE8 when I was unable to print monthly bank statements. I started using Firefox and have had no problems since.

No error messages for me the past couple days. Also, Microsoft has a security update available for I.E. 8 using Win XP (KB2744842) - I just downloaded this evening. - Bob

Update and request for help ...

If you're stuck with IE8 and can't upgrade to IE9 because you're still using an older version of Windows such as Windows XP, or Vista, then we'd recommend you have a look at switching to the many superior (and FREE) Internet browsers available for download, such as FireFox, Safari, Google Chrome etc etc … They all work well and are much faster (and safer) then IE8.

In any event, we'd like to see if we can help those of you who are stuck with IE8, so we need your help to see if we can address the issues for you …

We have made some changes to code to help members stuck with the faulty IE8 who have been experiencing "out of memory" errors. Since those changes a few days ago, we've had no further complaints about that specific problem.

However, we have had two members report receiving a different error saying stack overflow @ line 93, so we'd like to focus on trying to help them address that specfific problem they're experiencing.

Unfortunately, to be able to help anyone with this stack overflow @ line 93 condition, we need more information.

    Please go here:

Whats My User Agent? (click here)

You will see something that looks like this...

    Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10.8; rv:15.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/15.0

If you are using IE, please copy and paste the UserAgent as a post here in this thread. What also would really help is a screen pic of your browser screen showing the error message as it appears.

We appreciate your feedback, which will enable us to help you take full advantage of the many new features that will be coming to the site in the next few years.

    Regards,
    Doug

The nighttime computers is showing "Out of Memory at Line 102" again. Can't do a thing about changing it from this end, though. IT controls all that. At least they were able to get upgraded from IE6 this year! (Little wonder that the FAA hasn't been able to upgrade it's flight controller's systems...)
