Unfortunately, to be able to help with this, if we can, we need more information.
Please go here:
Whats My User Agent? (click here)
You will see something that looks like this...
Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10.8; rv:15.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/15.0
If you are using IE, please copy and paste the UserAgent as a post here in this thread. What also would really help is a screen pic of your browser screen showing the error message as it appears.
We appreciate your feedback, which will enable us to help you take full advantage of the many new features that will be coming to the site in the next few years.

Doug

Will do, when I get back on one of the other computers. This h'yar unit is at the "batcave". It's got it's own oddities, but not the problem being discussed. BTW, this one HATES Firefox. Or Firefox hates Photobucket. Or something. So it uses IEsomething newish. That works best.

I don't remember how to do a screen shot, but I seem to remember having a photo of a screen shot that tells you how to do a screen shot. Aieeee!
If I can find it, I 'll try it.

Jon...
There's a set of chat icons at the bottom bar of your browser. On the extreme right, there's a "double arrow" pointing down.
On the computer that you have the "out of memory error - line 102", can you click on that down arrow which closes the chat system. After that, clear your browser cache and refresh the page.
Let me know the results ...

Doug

Eh? Dicombobulate my framminjammitz?
Removed the bar, but now trying to highlight text to quote won't work. Have to use the "Reply with Quote button" and manually eliminate the excess text.
Oh, and no first names, please. My stupid screen name is bad enough.
ETA: but the out of memory message is gone for now!

Thanks partner ...
I just tested the "quote" function on my system with the Chat System closed and it seems to work fine. I guess it's another example of IE8 code handling things badly, but at least you no longer get the "out of memory" error with IE8.

No dramas the the quote function now. It seems to have fixed itself.

I love it when that happens, just so I can take credit for doing something I didn't do ...
Thanks for the update ...
