5000 German STG44s found in Syria???

Dont know if anyone has covered this on here or elsewhere, but I read an article today claiming that 5000 STG44s were unearthed in Syria last month. I tried to post the video on her, but it wont take for some reason. It's quite a sight. It's also quite a shame that most, if not all of these historic firearms will be destroyed. If you havent seen the vdeo, its on YouTube. Check it out.

What makes you think that? This is Syria we're talking about, not Sacramento. A country where anything that goes bang and makes a hole is worth money. Especially right now. IF the report is true (and the Internet is full of spoofs), then those weapons have already been cleaned up and sold to unknown new users.

STG44 is an efficient weapon. If they have them, they will issue them. If ammo was included. gary
