    How did Ishapore distinguish Mk III verus III* rifles?
    The same way the Britishicon did...the cutoff or lack thereof, respectively. A '37 Ishapore would've originally had the cutoff (present at least up to 1939, for sure).

    Nice find Anzac! The interwar Ishapores tend to be very nice rifles. Looks like she spent some time in the UK before crossing the pond.

    Thanks! Yep, it's got the old 'Englandicon' and scimitar export marks on it. Again, the bore on this rifle is without a doubt the nicest I've seen on an Ishapore. Going to put some rounds thru it tomorrow!
