    Ad posted on CGN ....

If you can't view the advertisement, it's probably due to the fact that you have to subscribe to the EE (Equipment Exchange) forums on CGN in order to view them, or the ad has been deleted.

    Seller says:

I have a very nice all matching (receiver, bolt and magazine), unissued (not FTR'ed) Savage made Lee Enfield No.4 Mk.1* made in 1943 for sale. Comes with issued sling, bayonet, and scabbard. Have to free up the money for a 1911.

Very nice wood, and metal on this one, and it sports the grooved handguard. Wood and metal are consistently marked “S” for Savage in numerous places (even the bayonet). Has the dual aperture flip sight.

Selling for $500 plus shipping. Will be VERY well packaged.

If you want more pictures just ask.
    Regards,
    Badger

Looks like a decent example from the meagre pics posted. I would have liked some of the markings to help verify the unissued claim. Still, a fair price if it really is that unissued.

He has a number of photos he can email you. As to how unissued it is, I'll let you know when I get back home on leave in January.

It's not that you have to get up early to get the best deals, you just have to be in a different time zone.
