    Sarco Argentines

I recently read a thread about Sarcos Sestiemas and can't find it. Might be on another forum. With that said has anyone purchased one and what are some opinions as in my quest for a military or in this case police surplus 1911A1 it may be an option.

Recent imports or older? I got several M1927s back around 2000 or so. (Mostly Argentineicon Air Force marked.) Various small import marks. Don't remember any except possibly "IACo"

    Thanks J,
Just bought a Colt 1911A1 on GB. It's rough and the seller even said so in his description but for the asking price and my final bid (808) I wont have much to complain about, I hope. The frame(GHD) is in the Ithaca serial range and the slide is close within 2,608 in the Rem Rand range both early 1943. I hope to have it next week. It looked worn like he said but what I liked was all the markings looked strong both clear and legible, and at least frame and slide 100% Colt with an HS barrel.
For all you members, $30(price subject to inflation) makes you a contributing member. I think this great site is worth it.
