Mas 1936 training device

[HOOKED ON HISTORY]

I aquired this interesting assessory for the MAS series of rifles today. Kit complete with storage case and instruction manual (in French). Does anyone else have one of these?
Seems in good condition save a bit of rust/corsion that should clean up.It seemed to me to be a nice accessory if only for display. Any thoughts?

There are several MAS 36 threads that have generated some intrest so I thought I would get a couple of replys on this odd item. Anyone know about ths contraption or is it the Peugeot of gun assessories and none wants to hurt my feelings?

I think that you're outside the forumers' experience. It's altogether new to me, so what useful input can I make except that it looks interesting!?

Eventually someone who knows something might comment, but it may be a while. A least you have a title that is informative as to the contents of the thread. Can't hurt on a long term basis.

I found somthing original? Now there is a first. Numrich has these for $29 if anyone is curious enough to buy one. I was able to find the manual online in French and used a translator to print it in English.
I will see if I can hook it up and post more pictures.
Too bad its not for an Enfield.
