    Bad Bolt?

    One bolt has no slot for firing pin? cannot figure how to post or don't have those privileges....
    Can I send 2 jpg's to someone who can post them?

    Here's the bolts...Looks like a different type to me. But for what? Universal? Er Wot? I've seen these, just can't remember...

    Aparently, Universal started producing guns with military parts. In about 1968, they had changed the design to exclude most parts and had redesigned them so almost no parts were interchangeable. This bolt is one of those I think. A later pattern bolt. Sort of looks like, but isn't an M1icon carbine bolt. Unless it's a Universal...

    Once again, I think this is the case, I know there's a few around here will join in as soon as they catch this...

    I don't know, I think you can re-coop by selling it as a Universal bolt that it is. Universal parts are scarce.

    ebay 'bolts'

    Read the auction. Those are not finished bolts. They are 'partially machined' surplus bolt bodies. I think they might make passable trot line anchors at $2 a pop.
