There's an entire fleet of DUKWs in Branson, Missouri. They are all painted white and have canopies with fringe. Disgusting!

Well, incredible project. I can't even imagine the amount of time and effort you have put into this vehicle.

Great to see someone have the will and patience to carry out a project like this, just remember that the kids of the future will thank you even more when they see a real one instead of one on google? Great work

They had two on Pittsburgh. Once they were in the water they let my 12 year old son steer. Very cool.

The University of Tennessee Knoxville used to own a DUKW they used for stream pollution control research and had painted in white and orange. Fascinating vehicle.

    Still putting along.

Welded in the brackets and bracing for the pintle sockets as well as the bracket for the top roof bows

socket bolted on and gun test fitted

Then final paint in the rear and tanks set in place.

    Dash wiring started

And an overview of it now

Green with envy............how I would love to drive that wagon.
Well Done Andy makes one very proud to see someone has the time to bring this historic vehicle back, outside of the usual Imperial War Museum type paid restorer employers areas!!
