The dagger looks very nicely done.

It's not bad. The guard and pommel are stainless steel. The hand work is quite evident when giving it a good examination. The blade above it seems confused in design, but it holds an edge well, as does the top blade. Both of those were in my uncle Floyd's possession for as long as i can remember. Never got a story on 'em, though.

Theater made knives are an intresting items. I suppose they must be about impossiable to document. I had better be carefull or my collecting might tale another tangent.

I would guess that they were not uncommon at the time. Sort of like the plexiglas grip panels on M1911a1s which were sometimes made out of enemy aircraft canopies.
