I just have a funny feeling in my bones and am confident - until NZL1A1 collector, aka KtK tells me otherwise - that these ain't not NZ locally produced handguards at all. Just because the rifle comes from NZ, don't mean that the HG's are from NZ. THey're from somne other FAL user nation I'm sure. My tyres have got India on them, but they ain't been there!

Hi Peter....I have "borrowed" the picture from falfiles mate...take a look, NZ pattern apparently, my Lithgow also has the NZ pattern sling swivel on the butt...plus what appears to be a NZ rack number on the side of the pistol grip......the evidence mounts!
On the info panel in the picture "NZ replacement parts" it does say about the handguards pictured right of image (yellow) trials and (black) production
but rather frustratingly the writing isn't clear GGGGGGRR!
Still like someone else to confirm or deny it though!
